Short version: We collect as little as possible. We don't sell your data. We don't run ads. We use no third-party trackers. Detailed browse analytics fire only after you accept the consent banner — decline is fine and the site works the same. Outbound clicks to retailers are logged server-side without consent because that's how our service runs and bills retailers per click — equivalent to any affiliate link click.
AllDiscGolf.com is a disc golf price comparison service helping customers find the best prices from retailers worldwide. We're based in the EU and operate under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the ePrivacy Directive.

Your location (country) — stored only in your browser's localStorage. Never sent to our servers. Used to estimate shipping costs from each retailer to your country. You can clear it any time by clearing your browser's local storage or using private/incognito mode.
Outbound click tracking — when you click "Visit →" to go to a retailer's site, we log that click server-side. This is how we count outbound traffic and, when CPC is active, how we charge retailers per click. Each click row contains:
/disc/discraft-luna). This is sent automatically by your browser as part of the click; we just persist it. Already part of every standard HTTP request.Legal basis: legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Click logging is necessary for the service to function — it's how we count traffic and bill retailers. This is the same legal basis Amazon Associates, AWIN, Impact, and every other affiliate network uses for the equivalent click data. No consent banner is required because no information is stored on your device for this purpose; the data is captured server-side from the request itself.
Click attribution markers (sent to the retailer's site) — when we redirect you to a retailer, we append ?adg_cid=<click id> and ?adg_sid=<session id> to the destination URL. The retailer's site can read these to credit the visit if you make a purchase. This is the same mechanism used by every affiliate link (Amazon's tag=, AWIN's awc=, etc.). The retailer's privacy policy applies once you're on their site.
Conversion postbacks (from retailers to us) — when a retailer reports a completed sale tied to one of our clicks, they send us:
We never receive the buyer's name, email, address, payment info, or any other PII. Retailers send us only the minimum needed to credit the click. Legal basis: legitimate interests — billing reconciliation between us and the retailer.
Browse analytics — consent-gated — if (and only if) you click Accept on the consent banner, we send the following events to our server:
If you decline (or your browser blocks the request), these events are buffered locally for the duration of your session and then dropped. Nothing is sent. Legal basis: explicit consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can change your mind any time — see the "Cookies and local storage" section below.
User accounts (optional) — if you choose to sign up for an account, we collect: email, username, password (stored only as a salted hash), country (so we can default your shipping zone), and currency preference. We use this to let you save searches, build a wishlist, and (in the future) get price alerts. Legal basis: contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). You can delete your account any time from the account page; deletion is immediate and irreversible.
What we do NOT collect:
If you apply to list your shop, we collect: contact name, email, shop name, website URL, country, currency, optional shipping zones, and optional feed URL. This is used solely to set up your listing, communicate about your shop, and operate the retailer portal (analytics dashboard, CPC billing). We don't share retailer data with other retailers or with third parties beyond Stripe (for top-ups) and Resend (for transactional email).
Retailer portal analytics (impressions, clicks, conversions, ROAS) are visible only to that retailer and to AllDiscGolf administrators. Other retailers cannot see one another's stats.
We use the following items in your browser's localStorage (stored on your device):
adg_sid) used to group your searches and views into a session. Transmitted with browse-analytics events only after you click Accept. Decline → buffered, dropped on close, never sent.We use no third-party advertising or tracking cookies. No Google Analytics. No Meta Pixel. No retargeting.
You can change your consent choice any time by clearing adg_consent from localStorage in your browser devtools — the banner will reappear on your next visit. Or just block our domain in your browser; the site keeps working without analytics.
You have the right to:
Since we collect almost nothing about non-account customers, there is typically very little to request. If you have an account, the account page has a "Delete account" button that exercises the erasure right immediately. To exercise any other right, email [email protected] — we respond within 30 days.
If we make significant changes, we'll update the "last updated" date above. For major changes affec
